Chef Joe and Linda moved to St Croix last year from Louisiana and fell in love with the island, the people, and the culture. They decided to open the Turtle Egg so as to offer some local cuisine and show the locals some authentic cajun "lagniappe" (a little something extra).
We do our best to support the local economy so whenever it is possible we do like to utilize products from local farmers. and vendors.
We are dedicated to the safety and preservation of the turtle population, hence the name "The Turtle Egg".
We combine the freshest ingredients and meats along with Chef Joe’s family recipes. Each entrée is made to order daily and we pride ourselves on providing quality food at a friendly price.
Our friendly staff and inviting atmosphere make for an amazing dining experience every time.
Whenever possible, we use fresh ingredients and products from the local community as it is important to us to support the local economy.

The biscuits and gravy were good and the cheesecake was awesome!!
We have been stopping in since they opened. The biscuits are soooo soft. The breakfast wrap is awesome. Plus, they nice people. We will continue to grab our breakfast here. Everyone should try this place, you will not be disappointed
